What they don’t teach at law school

I have a degree on law. Despite all of the classes where we were taught rules and principles compiled on the various codes, I realized that the they weren’t teaching a very important thing: that all of these rules – apart from public norms, which govern the administration of the State – are only applied in case of a disaggrement between people.

There is a dimension that Law doesn’t take into account, which actually rules more of society, and that is the dialogue, the understanding between people. Law is only applied when the parties fail to communicate or have the humility to recognize where they are wrong or don’t act in a good way. So what should be fomented is the willingness to be good and the understanding between the parties.

So put your best humble self out there!!
