For me, there is nothing that can substitute the feeling on laying on the couch and watching tv. That is why sometimes I don’t catch up to series because it pays of to wait to see them on a bigger screen. So I will list a couple of series and animes I’ve watched that brought me joy.
This production of NBC that retold the story of Count Dracula and his pursuit of taking down an evil order by bringing a new light to London. The performances were superb, the story was great but sadly it only had one season when it had potential for so much more. Still, it is worth watching. I loved it!

Drama, Horror, Romance, 43 minutes, TV Series (2013-2014)
The story of a normal family with the daily struggles of someone that is just a regular folk living the life in the suburbs. The show has a peculiar humor and we can all relate to the problems, cause we all went to high school, we all had family fights and we all did crazy things every now and then. Overall, a great show

Comedy, 30 minutes, TV Series (2009-)
Shokugeki No Souma
The story of Souma Yukihira that is forced to join a culinary academy when his father suddenly gets a job abroad. Not going to lie, the show is absolute insanity, the humor is very graphic and physical but don’t let it discourage you because it gets a lot better in later episodes. And the food looks great!
aka Food Wars!
Directed by Yonetani, Yoshitomo,
Ecchi, School, Shonen, 24 episodes, Spring 2015
Akagami no Shirayuki-hime
Shirayuki has an uncommon hair color that sparks the interest of many but she is more than that, she is also a great herbalist that is eager to learn more. This show is adorable and it has a sweet love story added but that in no way detracts from the overall experience.
aka Snow White With Red Hair
Directed by Ando, Masahiro
Fantasy, Romance, Drama, Shoujo, 12 episodes, Summer 2015
