The Essence of Aptitude – Esha Bajaj

Luckily, the really awesome author provided me with a copy of her book so I could give her my opinion so here are my thoughts of The Essence of Aptitude.

The Essence of Aptitude is a very fast pacing, sci-fi dystopian novel set many interesting topics. Human value, status quo, distribution of wealth and the dangerous path of isolating individual creating barriers of discrimination between one another.

To be honest, I’ve read this book in one day because the plot was very interesting, not predictable and fun at times. But like all good things, it comes with some downfalls.

I feel that everything happened to fast! The reader requires time to dwell on aspects of the book and we need to feel the weight of some decisions on the characters. Repetition should not be feared and even if it may seem to much, in an authors perspective, its crucial for the story and the reader. If not, things will all seem to have the same importance when that it’s not the case.

And i feel that a bit more of information could help. We are thrown for a loop with new info and we never get time to sink it in… But it’s all a matter of style and I don’t wish to hurt a growing author.

I feel happy to be able to help an author in such an early stage and I know that you can evolve and become much much better over time. Don’t get bad reviews get you down and keep working. Can’t wait to see the next book of the series.

So please support a new author and go check it out for yourselfs if you are a fan of sci-fi or dystopian universes.

May The Almighty GIP be with you, L.T:Htlls
